Man With Walker Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Willow Avenue Monday
Fresno, CA (April 27, 2021) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred Monday evening on Olive Avenue, the Fresno Bee News reported.
Officials said a man using a walker crossed Olive Avenue outside of a crosswalk. According to the article published online, a 2015 Toyota Sedan traveling east on Olive failed to avoid and struck the pedestrian.
The horrible crash took place just east of Willow Avenue in Fresno.

Emergency crews arrived at the site shortly after 11:15 p.m. Responding medical personnel rushed the male victim to Community Regional Medical Center. The California Highway Patrol group later confirmed the pedestrian sadly died as a result of the collision. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Meanwhile, authorities said the driver of the Toyota drove a short distance after the incident. The unidentified motorist eventually stopped on Helm Avenue. Per local news source, the driver cooperated with the investigation process as obliged by law.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the deadly pedestrian accident on Olive Avenue.
