Man, Woman Killed in Collision at East North and DeWolf Avenue
Fresno County, CA (December 10, 2022) – Two people died following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of East North and DeWolf Avenue Saturday afternoon, the Fresno Bee News reported.
Our sources indicated a Nissan Altima and a 2019 Freightliner collided at the intersection in Fresno County. Preliminary investigation revealed the Altima was heading north on DeWolf and slowly came to a stop as it approached the crossing at East North. Officials said the driver of the Altima later accelerated and entered the intersection at about the same time as the Freightliner heading east on East North. According to the article published online, the truck slammed into the side of the car.
Deadly Traffic Accident in Fresno County
Shortly after 1:30 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the crash site. Responding paramedics found the driver and passenger in the Altima both unconscious. Despite life-saving efforts conducted by medical personnel, the man and woman sadly died at the scene. Authorities continue to withhold the names of the deceased parties pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, the operator of the Freightliner appeared unharmed after the incident. Investigators continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the fatal crash that happened at East North and DeWolf Avenue in Fresno County.
