At Least 1 Hurt in Car Crash on Auberry Road Sunday
Clovis, CA (April 8, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a car accident that occurred on Auberry Road on April 4, Sunday.
According to the CHP dispatch, at least two vehicles collided in the 18688 block of Auberry Road in Clovis. Official later described the cars found at the scene as a white Toyota Camry and a silver Mazda.
The accident took place at approximately 2:50 a.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the site, they found both vehicles rolled down the ravine. Emergency crews reportedly used about 20 feet of cable to pull up the victims.
Minor Injury Car Accident in Clovis, April 4
The CHP log later mentioned the collision resulted in minor injuries. However, the exact number of people hurt in the crash and their names remained undisclosed.
Initial investigation revealed at least one driver involved in the accident was drunk. Police continue to withhold the identity of the DUI suspect pending confirmation.
At this time, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate several factors surrounding the DUI car crash in Clovis.
