4 Injured in Fresno Crash Near Brawley and San Jose Avenues
FRESNO, CA (June 2, 2022) – Several were hospitalized after a suspected DUI crash near Brawley and San Jose avenues in Fresno.
According to an article published by Your Central Valley, the accident took place on Wednesday night. Officers reported the wreck at around 8:45 p.m.
The incident happened on June 1 when a driver was traveling at a high rate of speed in the area of North Brawley and West San Jose avenues.
Fresno police said the speeding motorist then slammed into three other vehicles near the intersection. One of the cars involved rolled over upon impact.
Speeding Driver Hits Other Cars
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found a total of four people hurt. Three adults and a child ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel took the patients to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police believed that DUI played a role in the incident. Officers forced the corner of Brawley and San Jose avenues to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Fresno crash is still under investigation.
