FRESNO, California (January 2, 2017) – A fatal traffic collision took place along Herndon Avenue Sunday night, according to The Fresno Bee.
The accident involving two vehicles occurred just after 9 p.m. in the area of Herndon and West avenues.
As per the article, Fresno police said an SUV going west on Herndon Avenue collided with the passenger side of a white colored sedan as it turned onto Herndon from West Avenue.
An occupant in the sedan, 21-year-old Fresno resident Sydney Weakley, was killed following the crash.
Meanwhile, the driver of the SUV was reportedly shaken up after the deadly wreck and cooperated with the police.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
