1 Killed in Multi-Vehicle Collision at Shaw and Bishop Avenue Friday
Fresno, CA (January 14, 2022) – One person died following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Shaw and Bishop Avenue Friday evening.
According to ABC30 News, a red Camaro was traveling east on Shaw Avenue. The driver of the Camaro reportedly attempted to make a left onto Bishop Avenue. In the process, the Camaro collided with a grey Honda Accord heading west on Shaw.
The force from the impact caused the Camaro to spin uncontrollably. Our sources indicated the car ended up crashing into a third vehicle, a Cadillac, driving behind the Accord. Officials said the Camaro rolled over multiple times before coming to a rest off the roadway.
Shortly after 8 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to the driver of the Camaro. Sadly, the 74-year-old man succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine several unclear factors surrounding the horrible car crash at Shaw and Bishop Avenue.
