Man Killed, Woman Injured in Car Accident
FRESNO, Calif. (June 14, 2023) – One person is dead and another injured after a crash in Fresno at Helm Avenue and McKinley Avenue, according to the Fresno Police Department.
The collision occurred around 9:40 p.m. on Friday night, according to Your Central Valley.
A driver in a pickup truck reportedly rear-ended a black car before it veered off the road and crashed into a tree at the intersection. The truck caught on fire after the crash and the man driving was critically injured.
Paramedics responded and rushed the injured Hispanic male to a hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Meanwhile, a woman riding with a man in the black car suffered minor injuries and was also taken to a hospital for treatment.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Fresno crash on Helm Avenue.
