FRESNO, California (June 28 2016) – According to California Highway Patrol dispatch team, a deadly traffic collision occurred in the area of West McKinley and North Rolinda avenues on Tuesday afternoon.
CHP first logged the incident when a white SUV and a gray vehicle collided at 4:14 p.m. One of the cars involved reportedly struck a mailbox.
As per the dispatch, the coroner’s department officials along with the paramedics were on scene and confirmed that at least one person was killed in the crash. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The cause of the fatal 2-vehicle wreck remains under investigation.
