Pedestrian Killed in Fresno Crash at Bryan and Fairmont Avenues
FRESNO, CA (October 22, 2022) – A crash killed a pedestrian at Bryan and Fairmont avenues in the city of Fresno.
According to The Fresno Bee and ABC 30 News, the tragic accident took place late Friday night. Officers reported the collision on October 21 at about 11:46 p.m.
Fresno police said the incident happened when a car struck a female pedestrian for an unknown reason. The vehicle hit her at the intersection of North Bryan and West Fairmont avenues.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then found the woman in her 40s down on the ground. She sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel rushed the victim to a hospital, where she soon died. Her name has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, police added that the driver stopped and stayed at the site following the accident. The cause of the fatal Fresno pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the area of Bryan and Fairmont avenues to shut down for a time after the collision.
