Woman Killed in Fresno Hit-and-Run at McKinley Avenue and First Street
FRESNO (October 25, 2018) – A pedestrian was killed after an alleged hit-and-run accident in the area of McKinley Avenue and First Street on Thursday evening, according to The Fresno Bee.
The collision was reported at around 7:15 p.m.
As per the article, Fresno police said a female pedestrian was confirmed to have been struck by a vehicle at the intersection of McKinley Avenue and 1st Street.
A surveillance video showed that the car was traveling east on McKinley when it struck the woman who was in the crosswalk at the time.

Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found the victim lying in a gutter with critical injuries.
She was then immediately transported to Fresno Community Regional Medical Center, where she later died. Her name has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver involved did not stop to render aid and fled. The intersection was forced to partially shut down following the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
