2 Injured in Fresno Crash Near Cedar and Sierra avenues
FRESNO, CA (April 4, 2022) – Two were injured after a car crash near Cedar and Sierra avenues in Fresno.
According to The Fresno Bee and Your Central Valley, the accident took place on Monday evening. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 5 p.m.
Fresno police said two cars collided head-on for an unknown reason in the city. The vehicles crashed near the intersection of Cedar and Sierra avenues.
2 Cars Collide Head-On
One of the drivers, a man in his 80s, sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision. Paramedics soon rushed him to the Community Regional Medical Center and listed him in critical condition.
Medical personnel provided treatment to the other motorist at the site for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. The reports did not disclose the names of the wounded parties.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Cedar and Sierra avenues to shut down for several hours following the wreck. The cause of the Fresno crash is still under investigation.
