Woman Victim in Deadly Pedestrian Hit-and-Run
FRESNO (January 7, 2019)- A woman was killed following a hit-and-run pedestrian collision this morning at the intersection of Marthin Luther King Boulevard and California Avenue, per Your Central Valley News.
Reports indicate that the collision occurred at precisely 8:32 a.m.
Per Fresno police authorities, an unidentified woman believed to have been in her 50s had been in the crosswalk at the intersection before being struck by an unknown vehicle whose driver failed to stop and render aid.
The victim sustained grave injuries for which she was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center before sadly succumbing to her injuries.
At this time, the hit-and-run driver remains at-large as no arrests have been made.
