1 Injured in Fresno Hit-and-Run Crash on East Central Avenue
FRESNO, CA (June 15, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash on Central Avenue in Fresno.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Monday morning. Officers reported the wreck on June 14 at about 7:45 a.m.
According to their dispatch team, at least two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Fresno. They crashed at 4025 East Central Avenue near Peach Avenue.
Driver Hits Another Car, Flees Scene
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Malaga. They found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the Saint Agnes Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded victim and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the one of the drivers involved did not stop to render aid and fled the area. Officers forced a portion of Central Avenue to close following the wreck.
Authorities are still searching for the suspect. The Fresno hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
