1 Injured in Fresno Hit-and-Run Crash on East Clinton Avenue
FRESNO, CA (May 7, 2021) – At least one was hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash on Clinton Avenue in Fresno.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 4:40 p.m.
The incident happened on May 4 when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed at 3382 East Clinton Avenue near North First Street in Fresno.

CHP described one car as a white Chevrolet Suburban. Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found a victim who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the Community Regional Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the driver of the Chevrolet did not stop to render aid and fled the area. Officers soon located the suspect at 1849 Mayfair Drive East.
The Fresno hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
