1 Injured in Fresno Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 41 and Highway 99 Transition
FRESNO, CA (July 8, 2021) – At least one was injured after a hit-and-run crash on Highway 41 and Highway 99 transition in Fresno.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Monday morning. According to their dispatch team, officers reported the wreck on July 5 at about 8:46 a.m. near Jensen Avenue.
CHP said the incident happened when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Fresno. They crashed on southbound Highway 41 at Highway 99 transition ramp.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then provided treatment to the victim for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the wreck.
Officials did not release the name of the wounded patient and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that a driver involved did not stop to render aid and fled the area.
Officers forced southbound Highway 41 at Highway 99 ramp to shut down following the collision. The cause of the Fresno hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
