Man Injured in Fresno Hit-and-Run Crash on Walnut Avenue Near Central Avenue
FRESNO, CA (September 3, 2021) – A dirt bike rider was injured after a hit-and-run crash on Walnut Avenue in Fresno.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 3:13 p.m.
CHP said a vehicle struck a man riding a dirt bike for an unknown reason. The two collided at 4255 South Walnut Avenue in the city of Fresno

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Central Avenue. They found the rider left wounded as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the victim to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Officials did not release the name of the wounded patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the other driver did not stop to render aid to the motorcyclist and fled the area. Officers forced a portion of Walnut Avenue to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Fresno hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
