At Least 1 Badly Hurt in Collision at Belmont and Hayes Avenue Friday
Fresno, CA (September 17, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a car accident that occurred in the area of Belmont and Hayes Avenue.
Initial records indicated two vehicles collided at the busy Fresno intersection. The force from the impact caused one car to veer off the roadway, and slam into a fence.
At this time, the description of the automobiles involved in the crash remained unknown.

Medical personnel arrived at the location shortly after 7:05 a.m. Paramedics immediately checked the condition of all possible victims in the collision. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person suffered major trauma as a result of the wreck.
An ambulance later responded to the site, and transported the patient to a hospital for further treatment. The name of the injured party remained undisclosed pending conformation.
According to the CHP log, rescue teams found a semi truck stopped a short distance from the scene. It was not immediately confirmed if the truck played a role in the crash.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate several factors surrounding the car accident at Belmont and Hayes Avenue.
