FRESNO (March 3, 2017)- According to the Fresno Bee, a 19-year-old man suffered fatal injuries after being hit by a DUI driver Friday morning at the intersection of Shaw and Marty avenues.
Police officials received notification of the collision at 2:00 a.m. when the driver of a pickup truck identified as Brokton Bakman, 28, struck the young man who had been standing in the median before stepping in front of Bakman’s vehicle.
The unidentified 19-year-old man sadly did not survive his injuries and died at the scene, per the Fresno Bee.
