Motorcyclist Injured in Fresno Crash on Highway 41
FRESNO, Calif. (May 10, 2022) — A Fresno motorcycle accident happened Tuesday morning on Highway 41, just south of McKinley Avenue.
The two-vehicle collision occurred about 7:37 a.m. on May 10th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the motorcyclist crashed into the back of a motorist in the No. 2 lane of the northbound State Route 41. The rider flew off the bike and landed on the ground in the slow lane, police said.
A motorist stopped and called 911 for help. One driver used her vehicle to block the lane where the rider went down.
Paramedics responded to help the injured rider, but there are no further details.
Meanwhile, tow trucks responded to remove the motorcycle and possibly the car involved.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the collision. They will seek to determine if the car changed lanes in front of the motorcycle or if speed and or distracted driving was a factor in the Fresno motorcycle accident on Highway 41.
