Motorcyclist Critically Injured at Fresno Intersection
FRESNO, Calif. (Nov. 13, 2023) — A Fresno motorcycle versus car accident happened on Sunday night at Kings Canyon Road and Fowler Avenue.
The traffic accident occurred at around 5:45 p.m. on Nov. 12th between the two motorists, according to the Fresno Bee.
A man believed to be in his 50s was heading southbound on Fowler and collided into the back of a vehicle in the left-hand turn lane stopped at a red light. The motorcycle rider was ejected from the bike and sustained major injuries.
Paramedics rushed him by ambulance to a hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
Authorities said the motorcyclist was unconscious upon their arrival at the crash scene, but he apparently woke up at the hospital.
Meanwhile, the driver of the other vehicle had complaints of pain and was also taken to a hospital.
Investigators noted the motorcyclist was not traveling at a high rate of speed at the time of the collision, but it’s unknown what caused the crash at this time.
