Major Injury Collision on Sequoia-Kings Canyon Freeway Tuesday
Fresno, CA (June 22, 2021) – A motorcycle rider suffered serious injuries following a traffic accident on State Route 190, also known as Sequoia-Kings Canyon Freeway, Tuesday morning.
The California Highway Patrol group reported the motorcyclist crashed for an unknown reason in the westbound side of SR-180. Per CHP dispatch, the collision happened near Chestnut Avenue offramp in Fresno.
Shortly after 10:30 a.m., emergency crews arrived at the accident scene. First responders found a second vehicle involved in the wreck.

The force from the impact reportedly ejected the motorcyclist onto the roadway. Paramedics immediately rendered aid to the rider. According to the CHP log, the motorcyclist suffered major injuries including a broken ankle and road rash.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate several factors surrounding the car and motorcycle accident on State Route 190 in Fresno.
