At Least 1 Hurt in Collision on Highways 168 and 180 Tuesday
Fresno, CA (November 24, 2021) – A car accident that occurred in the area of State Route Highway 168 and 180 resulted in injuries, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Officials said multiple vehicles collided on the connecting ramp of SR-168 and 180 Tuesday morning. According to the CHP dispatch, the crash involved as many as seven cars. First responders found at the scene a Chevrolet pickup truck, and a van. The make and model of the other cars involved in the crash have not been revealed thus far.
The CHP logged the case on November 23, Tuesday, around 5:30 a.m.
When medical personnel arrived, they immediately checked the conditions of all parties found at the site. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person suffered injuries as a result of the wreck.
Preliminary investigation revealed there was extreme dense fog in the area where the crash happened. At this time, investigators continue to work to determine the precise circumstances that led to the accident at State Highway 168 and 180 in Fresno.
