Man Hit and Injured by Vehicle at Cedar and Shields Friday
FRESNO, Ca (August 16, 2019) – A major injury pedestrian accident occurred Friday evening in the area of Cedar and Shields avenues, the ABC News reported.
Our sources indicated an unidentified man witnessed a stabbing in east-central Fresno near a Rite Aid. The man apparently provided a statement to the police. Shortly after, the witness walked in front of a traveling vehicle at the Cedar and Shields intersection.
Major Injury Pedestrian Accident in Fresno, August 16
The impact resulted in serious injuries to the pedestrian. Due to the condition of the patient, paramedics rushed the patient to Community Regional Medical Center. According to local news sources, the man was listed in critical condition. However, the name of the patient remained unknown at this time.
Meanwhile, authorities mentioned the woman driving the vehicle stopped after the collision. The female motorist stayed in the area and cooperated with the police.
Emergency teams closed the intersection to give way to the investigation.
