Man Hit and Badly Injured by Vehicle at Kings Canyon Boulevard and Peach Avenue Thursday
Fresno, CA (April 2, 2021) – A pedestrian suffered serious injuries following a traffic accident in the area of Kings Canyon Boulevard and Peach Avenue.
On April 1, Thursday, a vehicle struck a male party at the southeast Fresno intersection. The make and model of the car involved in the collision remained unknown at this time.
The ABC30 News reported the pedestrian stepped into the roadway directly into the path of an oncoming vehicle. The motorist was not able to avoid on time, and hit the man. The crash took place just after 9 p.m.
Pedestrian Hospitalized After Accident in Southeast Fresno, April 1
Shortly after the incident, emergency teams arrived at the crossing of Kings Canyon Boulevard and Peach Avenue. Paramedics evaluated the pedestrian, then transferred him to Community Regional Medical Center. Our sources indicated the patient was listed in critical condition.
Officials mentioned the driver stopped after the crash and cooperated with the investigation process. It was not immediate clear whether there was a marked crosswalk where the collision happened.
At the moment, investigators handling the case continue to work to determine the precise cause of the pedestrian accident at Kings Canyon Boulevard and Peach Avenue in Fresno.
