Pedestrian Injured in Fresno Crash on McKinley Avenue Near San Pablo
FRESNO, CA (September 25, 2022) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after a crash on McKinley Avenue near San Pablo Avenue in Fresno.
According to an article published by the FOX 26 News, the accident took place on Thursday morning. Officers reported the collision on September 22 at around 8:30 a.m.
The incident happened when a male pedestrian was crossing McKinley Avenue near San Pablo Avenue in the city of Fresno. For an unknown reason, a car struck him.
Victim Hit by Car
The vehicle hit the person near the Fresno City College and the Heaton Elementary School. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
They found the victim who ended up hurt as a result of the pedestrian collision. Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital and listed him in stable condition.
The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party. Meanwhile, police added that the driver of the car stopped and stayed at the site following the incident.
Officers forced a stretch of McKinley Avenue to shut down after the accident. The cause of the Fresno pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
