Woman Seriously Injured in Fresno Hit-and-Run on Blackstone Avenue Saturday
FRESNO (October 21, 2018) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after an alleged hit-and-run accident along Blackstone Avenue on Saturday evening, according to The Fresno Bee.
The collision took place at around 7 p.m. between Shields and Clinton avenues.
As per the article, Fresno police said a woman in her 40s was walking east across Blackstone Avenue when she was struck by a vehicle.

A surveillance video showed that the victim was thrown across the road as a result of the crash. She was then transported to a nearby hospital with a broken leg.
Her name and condition at this time remained unknown. Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver involved did not stop to render aid and fled north on Blackstone Avenue.
The suspect car was described as a dark-colored SUV. The investigation is ongoing.
