Man Critically Injured in Fresno Hit-and-Run on Cedar Near California Avenue
FRESNO (April 15, 2019) – A pedestrian was critically injured after an alleged hit-and-run accident along Cedar Avenue early Monday.
According to ABC 30 News, police said a male pedestrian was reportedly struck by a vehicle for an unknown reason on Cedar Avenue.
Paramedics responded to the site and found the man left lying in the roadway and suffering from major injuries as a result of the crash. The collision took place at around 12:30 a.m. near California Avenue.

The victim was immediately transported to Community Regional Medical Center where he was listed in critical condition. His name was not disclosed.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver of the car involved did not stop to render aid and fled the scene. Authorities have not released any information in the description of the suspect.
Officers are still gathering more information and evidence to locate the hit-and-run motorist.
