3-Vehicle Collision at Bullard and Cedar Avenues
FRESNO, Calif. (June 25, 2024) – A crash involving a Fresno police car involving two other vehicles happened Monday night on Bullard Avenue at Cedar Avenue in Fresno.
The traffic accident occurred on the night of June 24th while the police vehicle was traveling with its lights and siren on to conduct a welfare check, the Fresno Police Department said.
The police officers were on their way to help a possible injured person and traveling westbound on Bullard Avenue, according to Your Central Valley News. At the intersection with Cedar Avenue, the officer slowed down to allow traffic to clear the way and began entering the intersection.
However, a driver in an oncoming car traveling northbound on Cedar Avenue collided with the police vehicle and pushed the patrol car into a third vehicle that was stopped.
Paramedics responded and check on all drivers and occupants involved, but there were no serious injuries following the crash. It’s unknown if anyone was hospitalized or treated the next day for complaints of pain reported on scene.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Fresno police car crash on Bullard Avenue.
