2 Students Hurt in Multi-Vehicle Crash Involving School Bus in Fresno
FRESNO, Calif. (August 24, 2021) — A Fresno school bus accident happened Tuesday morning at Clinton and Fruit avenues.
The four-vehicle collision happened about 8 a.m. on August 24th in the central Fresno area, according to Fresno fire officials.
Some 15 people from four vehicles were involved in the crash. The bus driver and 11 special education students were aboard the school bus, according to a report by Your Central Valley.
Additionally, the Fresno Unified School district reports that paramedics transported two students to a local hospital as a precautionary measure. Paramedics treated several other students aboard the bus for minor scrapes and injuries.
Also, one student had minor injuries and another had moderate injuries after the Fresno school bus accident.
Additionally, the school district will provide emotional and psychological support to the involved students.
Also, emergency medical personnel took a passenger from one of the other three vehicles to the hospital.
Finally, investigators will determine the cause of the crash and liability.
