FRESNO, California (May 17, 2016) – A two-car crash resulted in fatal injuries at the intersection of Valentine and North Avenues, according to an article by ABC 30.
The accident happened on May 16 shortly after 7:00 p.m.
As per the article, a blue Honda crossed the intersection and collided with an oncoming Mercedes Benz.
The force from the impact severed the Honda into half. Its driver was found dead at the scene by responding paramedics.
An officer claimed that the Honda driver was possibly distracted by the setting sun during the collision.
Investigators assigned to handle this incident will continue to gather more evidence as there are several factors that remain unclear.
