Crash on Highway 41 at Ashlan Avenue in Fresno
FRESNO, Calif. (June 23, 2020) — A wrong-way driver set off a collision Tuesday between two vehicles on Highway 41 at Ashlan Avenue in Fresno.
The crash was reported at 3:11 a.m. by the passenger in another vehicle reported a lifted Chevrolet Suburban SUV was driving recklessly and was traveling on the wrong side of the roadway before it crashed into another motorist in a white GMC. The SUV was heading northbound in the southbound lanes of Highway 41.
Paramedics responded to the scene where they found at least one person with injuries and transported them to a hospital.
Police are investigating the crash and will determine fault.
