2 Pickup Trucks in Brookhurst Street Crash
FULLERTON, California (August 1, 2017) — One person was hospitalized Monday night in a collision between two pickup trucks at Brookhurst Street and Oak Avenue, according to the Fullerton Police Department.
The crash was reported about 7 p.m. on Monday night between a maroon Ford F-150 pickup and a black or dark grey Ram pickup. The Ford suffered major front-end damage in the crash.
The Fullerton Police Department closed the road at Brookhurst Street in both northbound and southbound directions due to the crash.
Fullerton Car Accident Investigation
An investigation into what led to the crash and liability is underway by Fullerton police investigators. As part of their investigation, police will seek to find out whether either of the drivers were speeding, driving distracted or under the influence of alcohol or made unsafe lane changes or other traffic violations. They will piece together what happened and will assign fault to one or both parties.
