2-Vehicle Crash on Riverside 91 Freeway
FULLERTON, Calif. (June 23, 2023) — A fiery crash in Fullerton in the westbound lanes of State Route 91 (Riverside Freeway) happened Friday morning near Magnolia Avenue.
The two-vehicle car accident happened around 8:37 a.m. on June 23rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the vehicles were blocking the HOV and middle lanes and one of them was on fire, the report said. Police issued a SigAlert due to the collision and traffic buildup.
Paramedics responded and located one person’s neck bleeding as well as other injuries. There was an ambulance on scene, but it’s unknown how many were taken to a hospital.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both of the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the crash on State Route 91 in Fullerton.
