Motorcyclist Killed in Fullerton Crash on Orangethorpe Avenue Near 57 Freeway

FULLERTON, CA (August 16, 2022) – A crash killed a motorcyclist on Orangethorpe Avenue near the 57 Freeway in Fullerton.

According to an article published by My News LA, the tragic accident took place on Tuesday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 11:40 a.m.

Fullerton police said a male motorcycle rider and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason in the city. The two crashed in the 2200 block of East Orangethorpe Avenue.

Motorcycle and Vehicle Collide

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the 57 Freeway. They found the 46-year-old man down on the ground.

He sustained significant, life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then rushed him to a hospital, where he died.

The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of Orangethorpe Avenue to shut down for a time following the accident.

The cause of the fatal Fullerton crash is still under investigation.
