Pedestrian Killed in Fullerton Crash on 57 Freeway
FULLERTON, Calif. (August 23, 2021) –A Fullerton fatal pedestrian accident happened early Monday morning on the Orange (57) Freeway in Orange County.
The Fullerton crash happened about 5:05 a.m. on the southbound Orange (57) Freeway at the eastbound Imperial Highway on-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol. At least one motorist struck the pedestrian, possibly others too.
The pedestrian suffered major injuries in the Fullerton collision and died at the scene, the CHP said.

Meanwhile, police did not release the victim’s age, gender and identity.
Debris scattered all over the roadway after the Fullerton fatal pedestrian accident. Authorities with the Brea Police Department closed down the Lambert on ramp to the 57 Freeway. Also, the CHP issued a SigAlert for roughly two hours at 5:20 a.m. for all southbound lanes.
Additionally, investigators seek to determine the cause of the crash and liability. Witnesses may contact authorities to help them solve the case.
