Motorcyclist Injured in Fullerton Hit-and-Run Crash at State College and Orangethorpe
FULLERTON, CA (February 25, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash injured a motorcyclist at State College Boulevard and Orangethorpe Avenue in Fullerton.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Thursday night. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 9:30 p.m.
CHP said a silver sedan struck the motorcycle rider for an unknown reason. The female driver hit the victim at the intersection of State College Boulevard and Orangethorpe Avenue.
Driver Hits Motorcycle Rider, Flees Scene
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene near the 91 Freeway. They found the motorcyclist left suffering from unspecified injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then treated the victim at the site. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, the motorist stopped after hitting the rider and exited the car. Her male passenger hopped in the driver seat and they fled the area.
Officers forced State College and Orangethorpe to shut down for a time following the Fullerton hit-and-run crash. Authorities are still searching for the suspects.
