Gabriel Stauring, 55, Killed in Manhattan Beach Crash at Sepulveda and Marine
MANHATTAN BEACH, CA (November 25, 2021) – Gabriel Stauring was killed after a crash at Sepulveda Boulevard and Marine Avenue in Manhattan Beach.
The coroner’s office identified the 55-year-old Redondo Beach man as one of the victims in the wreck which took place on Tuesday.
The incident happened when Gabriel Stauring and his wife, 40-year-old Katie-Jay Scott, were riding a car in Manhattan Beach.
Their vehicle collided with three others at the intersection of Sepulveda Boulevard and Marine Avenue. Police described the cars as a BMW, a VW and a Prius.
Multiple Cars Collide
One of the vehicles involved crashed into a building housing the Coast Music Store nearby. The accident occurred on November 23 at about 9:46 p.m.
Both Gabriel Stauring and Katie-Jay Scott died at the scene of the crash. NBC Los Angeles and CBS Los Angeles wrote that paramedics pronounced another person dead.
Medical personnel took to two adults to a hospital in serious condition and a juvenile in critical condition. The fatal Manhattan Beach crash is still under investigation
Police determined that a driver was traveling at a very high rate of speed, broadsided another car, and caused a chain reaction wreck.
