2 Killed in Solo-Vehicle Crash in Lucerne Valley
LUCERNE VALLEY, Calif. (Sunday, October 24, 2021) — Gabriela Arcia and Ernesto Alfaro both died Sunday in a solo crash between Cove Road and Bluebird Lane in Lucerne Valley.
The deadly collision happened about 1:28 a.m. on Oct. 24th, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner.
California Highway Patrol officers responded to the area of Cove Road and Bluebird Lane. They located a single vehicle traffic collision. It’s unknown at this time what led up to the crash. However, it’s believed the driver of a white Chevrolet Trailblazer lost control and the vehicle overturned into the desert.
Ernesto Victor Alfaro, 41, and his passenger, Gabriela Arcia, 43, both of Lucerne Valley, died at the scene at 2:06 a.m., the coroner said.
There are no further details about the collision at this time.
