Motorcycle, Pickup Truck Crash on Highway 99 in Galt
GALT, Calif. (May 5, 2021) — A Galt crash on Highway 99 happened Wednesday, May 5th at Twin Cities Road.
The 6:40 a.m. collision involved a motorcycle and a blue and silver Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The motorcyclist went down in the center divider and lots of debris was in the roadway. The rider managed to get up and move around after the crash, but suffered minor injuries. Meanwhile, the pickup truck pulled over to the right shoulder of Highway 99 near Twin Cities Road.
Motorcycle Rider Hurt in Galt Accident
Meanwhile, paramedics responded to help the injured motorcyclist, but there were no further details. Police did not release the names of the people involved, nor their age and gender.
Additionally, investigators seek to determine the cause of the Highway 99 Galt crash as well as liability.
