Major Injury Collision at Kimtu and Sprowl Creek Road Tuesday
Garberville, CA (August 18, 2021) – A car crash that occurred in the area of Kimtu and Sprowl Creek Road resulted in injuries on August 17, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Initial records indicated a traffic collision took place at the Garberville intersection around 1:02 a.m. Officials said a Chevrolet SUV veered off the roadway and drove down the embankment. The vehicle came to a rest after hitting several large rocks in the area.
When emergency teams arrived at the crash site, they found at least one person trapped in the disabled car. Firefighters at the scene worked extensively to extricate the victim.

The CHP log mentioned paramedics attended to two parties with injuries. According to the accident dispatch, the victims sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. Authorities continue to withhold the names of the victims pending confirmation.
