Pedestrian Hit and Injured by Truck on Cedar Street
GARBERVILLE, Humboldt County (May 21, 2019) – Injuries were reported following a pedestrian accident on Cedar Street, according to the California Highway Patrol group.
Initial reports indicated a truck hit an unidentified person in the 733 block of Cedar Friday, May 17.
Minor Injury Pedestrian Accident in Garberville Friday
Emergency teams rushed to the scene and arrived shortly after 10:51 p.m. Medics immediately rendered aid to the pedestrian, who appeared hurt as a result of the collision. CHP log mentioned the patient suffered minor injuries. However, the name of the injured party remained undisclosed.
No details have been yet released on the truck driver.
At this time, investigators handling the case continue to work to determine precisely what happened here and why.
