GARDEN GROVE, California (August 1, 2016) — Two people were taken to hospital after a solo rollover crash into a light post and an Edison power box at Harbor Boulevard, just north of Woodbury Avenue, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place about 8 a.m. on Sunday morning.
The Garden Grove Fire Department had to cut open the roof of the Toyota Crossover SUV to extricate the male driver who was trapped in the vehicle. The driver and a passenger were both transported to UCI Medical Center for treatment of undisclosed injuries suffered in the crash.
The Garden Grove Police Department is heading up the investigation into the collision to determine liability and whether any charges are necessary.
