Motorcycle Rider Injured in Crash with SUV in Garden Grove
GARDEN GROVE, Calif. (Oct. 25, 2022) — A motorcycle accident on the westbound Garden Grove (22) Freeway happened Tuesday morning near Springdale Street.
The two-vehicle collision occurred about 6:50 a.m. on Oct. 25th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
An SUV and the motorcycle collided in the HOV and No. 1 lanes of the freeway. The rider went down in the HOV lane and the black Ford Edge pulled over to the center divider. The motorcyclist was unconscious following the collision. Also, paramedics responded to transport the motorcycle rider to a hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Meanwhile, a tow truck removed the damaged motorcycle from the freeway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
