Bicycle Rider Struck by Vehicle on Katella Avenue
GARDEN GROVE, Calif. (Sept. 8, 2022) — A person riding a bicycle in Garden Grove was injured in a car accident Thursday afternoon on Katella Avenue.
The collision occurred about 2:53 p.m. on Sept. 8th at Gilbert Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the driver stopped after the collision at the Garden Grove intersection. It’s unknown what led up to the accident at this time, but authorities are investigating.
Meanwhile, it’s unknown if responding paramedics transported the injured bicycle rider to a hospital.
A tow truck responded to remove the damaged vehicle.
