GARDEN GROVE, California (March 19, 2017) – Four were hospitalized after a traffic collision on the 22 Freeway Sunday afternoon, according to The Orange County Register.
The accident involving eight vehicles was reported at 2:22 p.m. The wreck took place in the eastbound lanes of the freeway near the Euclid Street interchange.
As per the article, Garden Grove Fire Department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and took two adults to local hospitals as trauma patients. Two other victims, an adult and a child, were also transported to be treated for injuries considered as minor injuries.
The names and condition of the injured parties involved were not immediately disclosed.
Meanwhile, California Highway Patrol received a report that a vehicle may have fled the scene following the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
