At Least 1 Killed in Traffic Collision at Garden Grove Freeway and Knott Avenue Sunday
Garden Grove, CA (July 4, 2021) – One person suffered fatal injuries following a car crash that occurred on Interstate 22, also known as Garden Drove Freeway, early Sunday.
According to My News LA, a white sedan careened towards the center divider of the westbound Garden Grove Freeway. The vehicle ended up slamming into the concrete barrier near Knott Avenue in Garden Grove.

Medical personnel arrived at the crash site shortly after 2:37 a.m. The article published online mentioned one person suffered serious injuries as a result of the wreck. Despite life-saving measures from the paramedics, the victim succumbed to their injuries and died. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate several factors surrounding the deadly car crash in Garden Grove.
