GARDEN GROVE, California (October 13, 2016) —A motorcyclist was injured Thursday morning when a driver turned in front of the bike on the eastbound State Route 22 Freeway near the Fairview Street off ramp, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The driver in the car told CHP officers that he “pulled into the HOV lane and the motorcycle hit the back of his vehicle.”
The crash was reported about 6:35 a.m. this morning. The two vehicles were over in the center divider after the crash. The motorcycle rider was up, but Metro Net Fire Authority responded with paramedics in case there were injuries.
The cause of the crash and liability is under investigation by police.
