Woman Riding Electric Scooter Injured in Hit-And-Run Crash in Garden Grove
GARDEN GROVE, Calif. (Nov. 17, 2021) – A hit-and-run driver struck a woman riding an electric scooter in a Garden Grove Tuesday night at West Street and Donna Lane.
Also, the crash happened about 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 17th at the Garden Grove intersection, according to Garden Grove Police Department Sgt. Charles Starnes.
Additionally, after she was hit by the vehicle, the woman suffered moderate injuries in the collision. Responding police found her laying in the roadway and Orange County Fire Authority paramedics took her to a hospital, police said.
The Garden Grove Police Department was on the scene investigating the hit-and-run crash.
Investigators determined the unknown vehicle fled the scene before police arrived at the crash site.
