At Least 1 Hurt in Collision Near Normandie Avenue Saturday
Gardena, CA (January 11, 2022) – On January 8, a suspected hit-and-run car crash occurred on Interstate 405 at Normandie Avenue.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a white SUV collided with another vehicle on the southbound lanes of I-405, also known as San Diego Freeway.
CHP logged the incident on January 8, Saturday, around 6 p.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found the white SUV disabled along the right-hand shoulder of the highway in Gardena. Responding paramedics attended to all possible victims in the crash. After the assessment, officials confirmed at least one person sustained injuries as a result of the wreck. The name of the victim, and the extent of their trauma have not been revealed thus far.

Our sources indicated the second motorist fled the scene before police arrived. At this time, detectives continue to gather information to identity the hit-and-run suspect.
