1 Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on Redondo Beach Boulevard Saturday
Gardena, CA (October 24, 2021) – A pedestrian accident occurred on Redondo Beach Boulevard on October 23, the California Highway Patrol group reported.

Our sources indicated a vehicle struck an individual in the 1145 block of Redondo Beach Boulevard in Gardena. The make and model of the vehicle involved in the collision remained unknown at this time.
The California Highway Patrol logged the incident shortly before 10 a.m.
When rescues teams arrived at the crash site, they found the pedestrian with injuries. Paramedics then provided medical aid to the victim. It remained unclear whether the pedestrian was eventually released, or transported to the hospital for further treatment.
The CHP dispatch mentioned the driver involved in the collision fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate at this time the identity and location of the hit-and-run suspect in the pedestrian accident in Gardena.
